WIT Clinics
WIT Clinics are offered to
students 8th grade and older who are interested in
being a Wrangler-In-Training
at the Shamineau Ranch. These weekends are open to
anyone interested in learning more about the
general workings of a horse camp and its
facilities. The clinic focuses on lessons in
basic horsemanship, basic horse care, and barn
and tack care, all of which can be applied to
nearly any horsemanship program. It will also
cover policies and procedures that are specific
to Shamineau Ranch and give
attendees a "heads up" on how the ranch
functions. These clinics offer the opportunity
for students to get a head start for the coming
summer season. Although clinic attendance
is not a prerequisite for hiring at Shamineau,
nor does it guarantee a summer position, we
strongly encourage anyone interested in applying
to attend.
