Servants With A Task
(SWAT)
If you find that you cannot commit yourself to a
full summer at Rock Ridge, you can still be a part
of the excitement. The SWAT Team provides students
(8th grade completed and older) with a one-week
staff experience. This program is a great way to
learn how to serve and get an introduction to being
on camp staff. The SWAT team serves in a variety of
ways including dish crew, kitchen preparation,
maintenance, and program. Students will be
introduced to the basics of camp life and work, and
will spend time doing devotions together, memorizing
verses, team building, learning procedures and
responsibilities. Students are housed in cabins with
collegiate staff. SWAT Team members will be involved
in daily Bible studies along with their various
tasks and evening activities. You may choose to work
one session during the summer. |
