|
What does this
mean for our guests? |
|
1. |
Guests will have a
chance to hear about the Gospel of Jesus
Christ, study their Bible and enjoy
quiet and intimate devotional times. |
|
2. |
Guests will have the
opportunity to participate in a wide
variety of outdoor activities as well as
chapel times and fellowshipping with
others. |
|
3. |
For programmed camps,
Rock Ridge will plan a time of worship
which includes bible reading, prayer,
singing and a speaker who shares a
message. |
| |
|
|
What else should I
expect at Rock Ridge? |
|
1. |
Life at Rock Ridge is
a little rustic. Our cabins have
electricity and there is a small shower
house but most toilet facilities consist
of out houses throughout the camp. |
|
2. |
Life at Rock Ridge is
informal and modesty is expected. We ask
that guests not wear tank tops with
spaghetti straps, midriff-baring shirts, and
tight or short shorts/pants. The Rock Ridge
waterfront requires 1-piece swimming suits.
(T-shirt and shorts work
great!). |
|
3. |
Guests should be
ready to have a great time, make new
friends, and be encouraged and
challenged through fellowship with other
guests and staff. |
|
4. |
Guests can also enjoy
numerous area attractions
(e.g.: International Wolf Center, North
American Bear Center, Tower/Sudan Mines,
and more) |
| |

Our summer staff |
|
|
To qualify for a summer staff position,
each staff member must successfully
complete an in-depth process.
First, an application must be completed,
including answering questions about
childcare experience, certifications,
and spiritual maturity. Three
references from adults who can comment
on their character are also required.
Second, each applicant must interview
for their position which is conducted in
person whenever possible. Last,
if an applicant is chosen, each must
attend staff training
where they will be prepared for a summer
of service. |
